Planting theology...

I'm reading through the Letters of C.S. Lewis right now.  It has been a very rewarding read.  So many nuggets of thoughts buried in his letters.  Lewis wrote this,   
 So I lived a week...in one of those delightful vernal periods when doctrines which have hitherto been only buried seeds begin actually to come up - like snowdrops or crocuses.
and I felt a kinship.
